Ramen, sushi, plates, lots of Asian cuisine at this little spot at UTC near UCI.

    Pros:
    - Lots of room, doors are open so it doesn't get hot
    - Prices are fair
    - Plenty of tables so it can seat a lot of students/people
    - Good service, food was served pretty quickly
    - It's at UTC so there's a lot of parking available
    - Menu has a lot of options

    Cons:
    - Tables are kind of small and they serve food on platters so the table gets cluttered pretty quickly
    - No choice in how noodles are cooked (hard, al dente, soft)
    - Ramen wasn't great compared to other places I've tried

Came to this plaza with coworkers during lunch so that we can all pick our own food and eat in the courtyard. I opted to this place as I was originally going to get a quick fix for sushi. I ended up getting the sukiyaki bowl, which surprised my palate! I thought the flavor was good and the dish overall was unique from the norm. It was piping hot so I did burn my tongue a little. Portion was a little big for me. About halfway through I was already full.

Check in for a free soda!

Grocery store rolls at best.  Rice cold and stale.  Caterpillar roll has a ton of crab meat and tiny slivers of unagi. Tiny.  I don't know if it was fish slivers or fish spread. The "unagi roll" with its paltry amount of fish had a disproportionate amount of fish bones.  And the eel special which is what we came in for came out with no eel the first time, because apparently the giant picture on the wall is not accurate.  But they remade it, after I pointed out the picture.  And it still came out something unrecognizable except for the fish sliver/spread mentioned above.  My guess is they just don't have the actual fish to reproduce the results.  The spicy tuna was more like spicy tuna mash.
The pros: it's clean and the employees are super nice, it's almost not fair to have them in a situation like that.

I am only giving this place 2 stars maxed because I really enjoy their spicy sukiyaki udon. Otherwise, I've been here 5+ times and the cashier lady always seems to be in a bad mood or at least I don't think she is the nicest. One time I ordered the sukiyaki udon togo, and I basically paid $10 for a tofu and udon soup because they gave me NO MEAT at all.

Got sushi here ONCE and as pictured below, it doesn't seem fresh plus the cuts are horrible! It doesn't align with the rice. They were also being cheap and cutting you the thinnest slice possible. They also don't give you any spicy-mayo on the side so if you want any, they will charge you. I recommend you walking to Del sushi for their sushi instead.

I will only come back here for the SPICY SUKIYAKI UDON.

    Tips:
-- If you order any soup togo here, ask for your noodles to be separated. For some odd reason, this place puts your noodle together with the liquids. This is a horrible method since it soaks up all your soup as you make your way home.
-- Double check you got all your food even if you have to open every little thing!
-- The only sushi that I kind of enjoyed is the Snow Cone Roll (Baked albacore, Lobster...)

    Best thing on the menu:
-- Sukiyaki Udon (They charge for spicy is you want it spicy)
